Jane treesThis week we have two major conjunctions, a total lunar eclipse, then Mercury stationing retrograde at the end. One of the conjunctions features Mercury, and it conjoins Aries Venus which is already retro. The eclipsed Moon is in Virgo on the south node, so Mercury is the focal point.

Slowing (but still direct) Mercury passes over Venus on Tuesday afternoon/evening. Once Mercury heads back through Aries into Pisces, it will chase Venus till Mercury turns direct a month from now in April. A week later, Venus will turn direct and chase Mercury — but further behind and without another exact conjunction till November.

Internal negotiations will have higher personal stakes than usual, but it will seem as though we’re not quite hitting the mark. That’s not objectively true, however, as we dip back into subconscious territory to absorb some damp fairy dust for later. This week, pay attention to your own narrative, what you’re wanting, what you’re chasing. What is on your mind and which subjects are popping up again and again? Our values, desires, and attitudes towards such are undergoing inventory and alchemy. Enjoy talking things out, and take stock of your urges to action.

Early Wednesday, the Pisces Sun rolls over Saturn, a yearly marker, a commitment to reality and living within the boundaries of convention. Even within bounds of the map, there are still wild places, so don’t get too worried. We’re just staying in touch with the path we’re choosing, making sure we’re still choosing it and that we haven’t wandered into the weeds. This checkpoint stiffens our awareness of our place on earth just as we head into the eclipse — late Thursday/early Friday. If you’re widely off your mark, expect a strong redirect. Running into a brick wall is frustrating but gentler than a fall off the cliff it hides.

The eclipse opposition takes place with the Moon in trine and the Sun in sextile to Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus. It’s an opportunity to let go of the attitudes and conclusions that keep us from following a divinely inspired and uniquely upgraded path. It’s what we think we know that’s keeping us from an improved version of our truth. Two things can be true at once, but which is more timely and future-oriented? We’ll have some time to configure this puzzle, so start collecting the pieces. If the pieces are familiar, they’re probably not the ones you’re looking for. Engage all your senses, and confirm with active dialogue. This could actually be quite rewarding.

On Monday, the Sun-ruled Leo Moon trines Mercury and retro Venus, illuminating the conjunction. It goes on to sextile Jupiter in Mercury-ruled Gemini. Consider where you can make better or expanded use of something you already have. You might even save yourself some money. Unfortunately, any money saved is likely to be spent in the afternoon! But it should be a sweet, wild ride. Get some bang for your buck, and be generous. Include others in the fun as there’s enough to go around. Share your stories. Let others contribute theirs as well.

Tuesday’s Leo Moon trines Aries Chiron and squares Uranus before the afternoon’s Mercury-Venus conjunction. Lean into practicing new skills, even if that learning curve makes you a bit anxious. You’ve got this!

Wednesday morning, the Moon moves to Virgo and a quincunx to Pluto in Aquarius. That’s a mood that will goose you right out of bed. Get yourself into line immediately or you’re likely to be your own worst critic. The Virgo Moon goes on to quincunx Aquarius Pallas Athena and the widening Mercury-Venus conjunction, the Moon on the point of a yod. Spotting patterns here is a chance to fit some of those puzzle pieces together for further valuation. Those bits will likely deal with the way you see your resources or past loves. Overnight, the Moon squares Jupiter and a racing mind is the mood.

Early Thursday, the Virgo Moon perfects its square to Jupiter, and things might go a little too quickly for comfort. Ideas and communications are loud and fast, but the Moon’s sextile to Mars makes use of the exhilarating mood to get into gear and knock out those tasks. The Moon goes on to oppose Saturn and head into opposition with the Sun and trine to Uranus overnight: the eclipse. Get your work done ahead of time as the night presents its own challenges. Give yourself time before committing to your gut response, and expect to be in your own head about your feelings on any given matter that arises. You’ll want to make a snap judgement. Make it, but hold onto it for later confirmation. Plan for trouble sleeping. Make tomorrow’s lunch ahead.

On Friday, the wake of the eclipse takes the Virgo Moon into opposition with Pisces Neptune. You gut reaction to distraction is either disturbing or dreamy… or one then the other. Carefully curate the first part of your day with the expectation of missing or murky details. Be ready to roll with the waves and find your way back to shore. By afternoon, the Moon moves to Venus-ruled Libra and a trine to Pluto. “Back to shore” may mean you get a chance to dry out and re-discover just how good that feels. Love is in the air behind the scenes.

The full moon eclipse takes place at 23 degrees Virgo, opposite Saturn and trine Uranus. Whatever takes place, we’ve got an anchor set to hold our progress steady as we pivot to fresh tangents. Where does this hit your chart?
