Fans have reacted in shock to the news that there will not be a presale for this tour, taking to Twitter to share that they were ‘going crazy’ and ‘panicking’ at the prospect of joining a large queue for general sale.
One wrote: “Blackpink ticketing will be a bloodbath especially with out presales.”
Presales have become a popular way for acts to give their fans a head start on large events ahead of the general public, but they’re not without controversy; some music fans argue they’ve become too easy to join and that they offer inflated ticket prices, forcing people to ‘panic buy’.
Blackpink’s world tour will kick off in July 2025 and will take them from South Korea to North America. The final leg will take place in Europe with shows in Paris, Milan, and Barcelona.
Saving the best until last, their one and only show in the UK will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on Friday, August 15. This will be Blackpink’s first headlining tour in over three years and the UK show will mark their debut at London’s iconic venue.
