Picture it—8000 books, churned out by algorithms, some even claiming to be astrologers, like my digital doppelgänger, Elsa. With a fake granny to boot! It feels like we’re caught in the middle of some kind of tech-fueled knife fight between authenticity and automation. You know, back in the day, astrology was all about personal connection and interpretation, but now it seems like we’re losing that warmth in the face of bots and fake comments.
But here’s the thing: amidst this digital deluge, there’s a special place that has thrived for 24 years—the elsaelsa.com community! It’s a haven for people of all ages and backgrounds, a smorgasbord of ideas and perspectives. This is where many have discovered the joy of astrology and transformed their lives, not just learning how to read charts but also how to cultivate happiness, love, and generosity. I came across an announcement from a company set to publish, 8000, AI created books with the specific intent to flood the market with new releases. There is plenty of astrology-related AI-created content. There are also AI-created astrologers; including my replacement, Elsa, the astrologer with a special grandmother. I’ve been advised, twenty versions of elsaelsa.com are being registered. This site will likely run on my reputation for years to come.
We also have wordpress plugins that can generate comments on blog posts, making it appear the content is popular. It will also drive sentiment, I’m sure. Basically, everything is turning into reddit or other social media, which means it’s compromised. I feel the content I see on these sites is about 90 percent bots / shills. Bottom line, it’s not real interaction.
But then we have this site, where people have gathered for 24 years! As far as astrology community goes, it one of the best options. I say this because this site has always been welcoming of all points of view. All ages. All levels of expertise.
Legions of people have learned astrology via this site, or been helped, umpteenth times, due to something they saw or read here. Many have turned their lives around, learned to read charts, but more importantly, learned to be happy; more loving and giving.
I thank everyone who has ever participated here. I want to ask you in plain language, to continue to support this site, in whatever way you can.
I’m thinking about this site being one that simply refuses to die. You know I have endless energy, endless ideas, and the ability to move in real time… but this site is pointless, without the community.
If you’ve been slacking on commenting, or whatever else you’ve done to support this site in the past, I ask you to step it back up, because the site that replaces this one will not have the heart behind it. We have real people here. Can we keep it this way?
