“Unlocking Hidden Potential: How the Pluto Square Pluto Transit Can Transform Your Life”

Added on December 6, 2024 inASTROLOGY CARDS

When Pluto transits your natal Pluto, the usual narrative is that you’re in for a dramatic crisis—it’s almost like a cosmic rite of passage! Think of the classic trope: leave your spouse, splurge on a convertible, and embrace your inner midlife maverick! But hold on—things aren’t quite so simple anymore. Times have changed, people! The cosmic relationships between outer planets have shifted, meaning that these potentially life-altering transits might not hit when you expect them to. And let’s not forget that a Pluto transit doesn’t equate to a crisis by default; instead, it could be a powerful opportunity for growth, especially if your Pluto is playing nice with other planets in your chart. You might even find yourself accessing a newfound energy or connecting with someone influential who helps you shed your metaphorical dead weight. So, what happens when you hit this transformative phase? Spoiler: it could be a breathtaking evolution or a humbling encounter with power that challenges you. Whichever way it goes, the key to navigating this celestial rollercoaster is really knowing yourself and your Pluto—because when you face your own shadow, you stand a much better chance of turning chaos into empowerment. So, what’s your Pluto story? Are you ready to dive deep and figure it out? LEARN MORE.

Pluto mythWhen Pluto transits natal Pluto, most every source will tell you, you’re going to have a crisis. In part, this is because the transit is conflated with Uranus opposite natal Uranus and sometimes, Neptune square Neptune as well.  The so-called “midlife crisis” transits?

I can attest to witnessing this phenomena when I was younger.  Classic, leave your wife and buy a Corvette, but it doesn’t happen like this anymore.  It’s because the relationship between the outer planets has changed and these transits can happen, many years apart.

Also, when you’re thinking about this, if your natal Pluto aspects other planets; it would all be tied in.  I state this to say, I don’t think the idea a straight up Pluto transit to natal Pluto equals “crisis”.  In fact, if Pluto is well aspected, you may very well be infused with energy, from whatever source(s).

An inheritance would be an example.  Or you may encounter a good Scorpio or other type Plutonian who strips off your dross and really empower you.

You might look at this as “contact with power”.  Power meets your personal power.  This can be marvelous.

I’m thinking of times when I talk to a person and their life changes before we get off the phone.   It can be the exact opposite too, of course.  You can meet power that degrades you.

Your best defense is to know your own Pluto… your own shadow.  This way, you won’t be meeting outside yourself all the time.  This raises your odds of an empowering experience.

What happened when transiting Pluto squared your natal Pluto?
