As we gear up for an astrological shake-up, it’s time to put your cosmic thinking caps on! Mars is getting ready to strut into Leo, locking horns with some seriously powerful energies, and trust me, things are about to get intense! On December 6th, 2024, our fiery friend Mars will turn retrograde, opposing Venus in Capricorn and Pluto in Aquarius. Talk about a celestial showdown! I can practically hear the dramatic music playing in the background. But hold on—Neptune’s spinning into direct motion just a day later, adding a sprinkle of mystery and potential for mischief. Feeling curious yet? What’s hiding behind the cosmic curtain, and are we in for a wild ride or just a few bumps in the road? Buckle up, dear readers! Let’s dive into what this retrograde might mean for all of us. LEARN MORE.
Mars in Leo will reach six degrees before turning retrograde on December 6th, 2024. It will be opposing Venus in Capricorn and Pluto in Aquarius at the time. The reversal will intensify the stress of the opposition.
Neptune will turn direct in Pisces, the next day. This adds up to manipulative sleight of hand, in my mind. Some kind of tricky business or misdirection. Perhaps some dramatic distraction that obscures something important?
It’s this, or my 8th house is slipped into some kind of paranoia. That’s possible, but not at all usual. I skew towards optimism, but there’s just too much hanky-panky about.
As I’ve mentioned, this reversal will maintain the Mars Pluto opposition through the middle of January. Here are some helpful dates:
Mars aggravates. Pluto in Aquarius can be seen (in some light) to signify the shadow-side of humanity. Personally, I’m not liking this, but I’ll work with it… by trying (Mars) to unleash the coiled up serpent the power (Pluto) of my creativity (Leo).
But seriously, remember the phrase, “shock and awe”? There may be days we experience this. Days, not weeks, so don’t color this whole period, dark. As I’ve mentioned, the first few months of 2024, look quite smooth. But the stabbings, when they occur, will be notable.
