50 Cent wasted no time ridiculing Gloria Allred after learning the California State Bar launched an investigation into her law firm, calling her out in a blunt Instagram post.
Allred has been accused of pressuring clients—primarily women—to sign settlements in sexual misconduct cases before they were ready.
“Hey Gloria so the FED’s are on your ass now hun, LOL 😆 I told you I’m not paying you I’m not paying you a fvcking dime. 👀ya been getting away with MURDER!” 50 Cent wrote.
According to a detailed report by The Wall Street Journal, several former clients stated that their concerns were dismissed and they felt coerced into agreements.
The California State Bar has since requested interviews and documents from Allred’s firm, Allred, Maroko & Goldberg, as part of its inquiry.
While no formal charges have been filed, the probe has drawn attention due to the Bar’s recent scrutiny over its handling of other high-profile attorneys, including Thomas Girardi.
Allred and her firm deny any wrongdoing, stating they have always followed ethical and professional standards.
The rapper’s jab comes months after Allred filed a lawsuit against him on behalf of photographer Guadalupe De Los Santos, who claims he was injured by an SUV door at a book signing event in Los Angeles.
The suit alleges that 50 Cent directed someone from his team to strike De Los Santos while the photographer was riding an electric scooter, resulting in injuries and lost wages.
Back in January, 50 Cent didn’t seem fazed by the lawsuit and responded with his usual sarcasm.
“Gloria you’re not gonna get any money from me that way,” he wrote on Instagram. “but if you call me I’ll take you to dinner. LOL .”
Allred is also representing multiple women in lawsuits against Diddy, including Thalia Graves, who alleges she was drugged, assaulted and filmed by Combs and his bodyguard in 2001.
